Library Media Asset Management
RTÉ is the national broadcaster of Ireland and has used MediaWeb for over 20 years to keep track of their media assets, ingest data and schedule their radio programmes.
MediaWeb is the single point of entry to the suite of modules that are part of the Library Asset Management application.
It provides Single Sign On authentication so users can get straight to the business of safeguarding and adding value to the organisations assets.
The MediaLibrary module allows users to enter details of their media ranging from Acetate discs to high capacity tapes and digital assets. The latest version
of allows for the automatic linking of digitised versions of the media to the meta data so that users can play it at their workstation instead of using specialised library equipment..
The MediaSchedule module takes care of the radio schedule within RTÉ. Users can easily maintain the schedule for the various radio stations and bands that
RTÉ broadcasts on. It interfaces with many other systems within RTÉ including play out systems and Electronic Programme Guides.
MediaData is a flexible tool that provides the 'glue' to allow the other MediaWeb modules to easily integrate with external systems.
It provides multiple API's that can be used to retrieve and update MediaWeb data.
MediaData also provides the scheduling of tasks which can be anything from emailing out daily reports to performing hourly data refreshes.
MediaData has been developed with scalability in mind. It can be clustered and used in a server farm environment. It can handle large number of requests and is optimised to make the most of the resources it has.

European Space Agency
Techlib - Technical Library Software
The European Space Agency (ESA) is Europe's gateway to space. Its mission is to shape the development of Europe's space capability and ensure that investment in space continues to deliver benefits to the citizens of Europe and the world.
Techlib is software owned by Open Text and is used by technical libraries to control their internal collections of books and other media, keep track of circulations
(borrowing and loaning) and manage the purchase of journal and magazines.
We have modified Techlib for ESA to fit within their intranet infrasturcture. We support them by ensuring the smooth running of their system and answering
any queries they have, providing them with usage statistics and making changes to application when they require them.
