SafeGuard is a complete electronic e-GIF compliant case management solution, designed to securely automate all aspects of the firearm registration process.

It is low cost, scalable and simple to deploy. Paper based applications are scanned and subjected to Optical Character Recognition (OCR) using SafeGuard’s scanning module to create a single, fully searchable PDF document. The system has a completely browser-based interface, with all functions being accessible via a single point of access, reducing the need for complex and lengthy training. (A two hour training session is all ANY user needs to be completely familiar with the system.) It is totally owned and managed by the users, and therefore requires little or no application support from central IT resources, thus lowering the total cost of ownership.

All relevant users and departments can view and process their case list, ensuring increased efficiency. Registration applications can be found and reviewed rapidly, and response times and current status can be viewed immediately.
